Dear Friends,

I am running for my third and final term for State Representative in the 109th District. Serving as your Representative for the past four years has been an honor.  I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting with you and hearing from you on the critical issues that we face in Michigan.  The decisions I have made came only after listening to all sides, and I believe that I have always done what I felt would best serve the people in the Upper Peninsula.

My first two terms in office turned out to be more challenging than I ever imagined they would. The unprecedented downturn in both the national and state economies have been felt in every part of Michigan. While the 109th District of Michigan has not been hit as hard as some other areas of the state, some of you have lost your jobs or your benefits and still others cannot find a job.  I see some signs that the economy may be recovering, which is good news. I promise to do everything I can to get people back to work.

Much work still needs to be done in Lansing.  Please vote for me on November 2 so I can continue to fight for the issues that are important to the 109th District and the Upper Peninsula.
